Organic Italian-Flatleaf-Parsley Herb seeds produce plants that have become a chef’s favourite. Flatleaf parsley is packed with flavour. Use fresh or dried and don’t forget to use the succulent stems as well.
Direct seed or transplant in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked. Transplant should be started indoors 6-8 weeks before planting out date. Sow seed .6 cm deep and keep moist. Parsley can take 3-4 weeks to emerge from the soil. Space plants 30-45 cm. apart. Keep well watered and provide good fertility for best production. Cut outer leaves for baby salads or cut and bunch entire plant for market. As a biennial they will winter over and go to seed the second year.
