Organic Green-Wave-Mustard Greens Seeds
Grown and harvested in Ontario, organic Green-Wave-Mustard Greens seeds take 50 days to be ready for harvest. High yields of bright green frilled leaves that are packed full of vitamins. In salads, the leaves add a hot spicy note but when cooked the taste becomes mild. Use in stir fries or cook like spinach. Upright plants reach 60-70 cm. and resist bolting. Grow in cool weather for the best taste.
Direct seed in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked through to late summer. For salad greens, sow seed .6 cm deep in 5-10 cm bands at a rate of 60 seeds per 30 cm. Begin to harvest when plants are 3-5 weeks old. For full size greens, sow in 5 cm. bands at a rate of 15 seeds per 30 cm. Protect plants from flea beetles by covering with floating row cover. For cut and come again cut plant .25 cm above soil level or harvest individual leaves.
