Description
Organic Jade Bush-Bean Seeds
Grown and harvested in Ontario, organic Jade Bush-Bean seeds are prolific producers of 13-18 cm (5-7”) delicious, tender, green stringless snaps that continue to produce until frost on heavily laden yet robust plants. Resistant to common bean mosaic virus, rust, and curly top virus.
Planting Instructions
Direct seed bush beans into well drained soil in full sun once the soil has warmed above 16 degrees Celsius. Sow 2.5 cm deep with the eye facing down and space plants 5-7 cm apart in rows 45-90 cm apart. A good quality compost or organic fertilizer will increase production. Pick frequently or sow fresh seed every 2 weeks until mid summer to ensure a continuous supply of tender beans. To harvest dry bean, allow pods to dry to a crisp and shell out the beans. They are dry enough to store when seed coats can not be dented with your fingernail.
