Description
Organic Dwarf-Grey Sugar-Peas Microgreen & Sprouting Seeds
These Organic Dwarf-Grey Sugar-Peas microgreen seeds represent an heirloom variety of peas which are both tender and sweet. The Dwarf Grey Sugar Pea microgreens (shoots) actually grow quite long, unlike the name may lead you to believe. This variety is known for the quality and flavour of its thick, fast growing shoots.
Harvest with scissors once the seedlings are 8-10 cm (3-4″) tall (the stems can become a little fibrous if grown too long). Pea shoots are fantastic raw, tossed with a sesame based dressing, or added to stir-fries at the end of cooking to maintain their appealing crunchy texture.
Storage: Our seeds should sprout well for a year after you purchase them, if stored in a cool dry place. If you’d like to extend the germination life of your seeds, store them in the fridge. If you store your seeds in the freezer, they’ll last even longer!
Certified Organic
All our sprouting seeds are certified organic and non-GMO.

Microgreens are grown in soil or a soil-less medium such as a jute grow mat. They are harvested after they have established roots and opened their cotyledons. Only the stems and leaves are consumed; they are harvested above their roots.
