Description
Organic Daikon-Radish Microgreen & Sprouting Seeds
These organic Daikon-Radish microgreen seeds germinate quickly and are easy to grow. The microgreen is substantial and very crunchy. Due to its fast growth they can be harvested as early as 5-6 days, assuming you have exposed to light on day 3. These radish microgreens are at their peak of crunchiness at about day 5 or 6. Once they grow larger they get more leafy and lose some of their crunch.
Daikon Radish is a green crop with an intense radish flavor great in any microgreen or full sized salad. Daikon is one of the most popular radishes to sprout as well. Use instead of sliced radish anywhere you would normally use radish.
Storage: Our seeds should sprout well for a year after you purchase them, if stored in a cool dry place. If you’d like to extend the germination life of your seeds, store them in the fridge. If you store your seeds in the freezer, they’ll last even longer!

Difference Between Spouts and Microgreens
Sprouts are the first stage of a plants development, microgreens the second. They are grown hydroponically and without medium, and are keep moist and at room temperature until they germinate. The entire sprout is consumed, including the root.
Microgreens are grown in soil or a soil-less medium such as a jute grow mat. They are harvested after they have established roots and opened their cotyledons. Only the stems and leaves are consumed; they are harvested above their roots.
